About Àrachas Coaching

Hi, I’m Karina Macleod, founder of Àrachas³ and Àrachas Coaching, I’m really glad you’re here.

Àrachas Coaching exists because I believe legal, business and leadership support should be accessible, human and grounded in real life. Over more than 20 years working across the private and third sectors, I’ve supported people building things that matter, often under pressure and with limited capacity. I understand how challenging that can feel, and I also know how transformative the right support can be.

My work is about creating space, clarity and momentum, so you don’t have to face complex decisions alone.

My background

I bring together practical experience, legal grounding and coaching practice to support individuals, leaders and teams through complexity and change.

Earlier in my career, I worked as a paralegal within Scottish law firms. I hold a BA (Hons) in Law, alongside Specialist Paralegal Qualifications in Employment Law and in Wills, Trusts & Executries. This legal foundation shapes my approach, which is structured, clear, and solutions‑focused while always translating complexity into plain English.

Alongside this, I am an Executive Coach and Mentor, supporting people with the human side of leadership: confidence, communication, decision‑making and navigating change.

In April 2025, I began studying for an MBA to deepen the strategic and organisational support I offer.

Clients often tell me, “You make this all feel simpler.” That’s intentional. My role is to bring calm, grounded clarity to whatever you’re facing, whether that’s leadership pressure, organisational change, governance questions or complex people dynamics.

  • We offer sliding scale pricing, and pay as you go and fixed price sessions. Our hourly rate is £150 for shorter term work. We charge £500 per day for longer term work. Fixed fees are available and we will also try and work in your budget, talk to us and let us know.
